Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has been showing off his egg-shaped ball control.

The France international was getting ready for the Rugby World Cup later this year by attempted keepy-uppies with a rugby ball.

Giroud makes a decent attempt at keeping the unfamiliar ball aloft.

Entertaining enough, but it’s certainly no Per Mertesacker winning a lineout.

In both cases, Stoke City fans might allow themselves a wry smile at the sight of the Gunners playing rugby.
