AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen is a transfer target for Manchester United and Everton, according to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.

The Red Devils and the Toffees both had scouts in the crowd for AZ’s 2-4 home defeat to PSV Eindhoven on Saturday evening, the report claims. They were joined by a representative from French champions Paris Saint-Germain, who are also thought to be keeping tabs on Janssen.

Although he failed to get on the scoresheet against PSV, the 21-year-old forward had found the net in his previous seven goals.

That form earned him an international call-up for the Netherlands’ recent friendlies against France and England. He scored one and made one in the 1-2 win at Wembley and put in an impressive, physically imposing performance.

After time in the youth ranks of NEC and, between 2009 and 2013, Feyenoord, Janssen dropped down to the second-tier of Dutch football with Almere City. His return of 29 goals in 69 games earned him a move to AZ last summer. He has scored 20 goals in his 28 games to date.
