DraftKings’ app uses a cool color scheme and backs this look up with speedy performance and great navigation, making for an incredibly well-rounded casino app that’s hard to fault.
Look and feel
The DraftKings employs a crisp, dark color theme, contrasted by a white font.
While simple, this color scheme is incredibly effective, as it helps the color in the game thumbnails to pop and stand out.
You can change this dark theme to a lighter one via the in-app settings.
However, I felt the light theme lacked any kind of contrast and felt a little boring in comparison.
User experience
As you might’ve guessed, my hands-on experience with the DraftKings app was fantastic.
When you open up the app, you’ll be greeted by the home page, which allows you to quickly dive into many different games, such as slots, table games, and the live casino.
You’ll also find several suggested games based on your previous playing history.
DraftKings has made it very easy to navigate through the app, and the large selection of games, thanks to the handy selection of menus.
For instance, at the bottom of your screen, you’ll find a permanent menu, allowing you to browse through your recently played games, ongoing promotions, and your home page.
There’s also a search bar that you can use to find anything from your favorite game to a broader selection of titles based on a keyword.
I found this to be nice and accurate, helping me to find even the most niche slot titles.
From a performance perspective, the DraftKings app is faultless.
For one, the loading times are incredibly quick. Scrolling between menus and tabs is also a breeze, and beyond this, I never encountered a period of lag or a crash.
Ultimately, therefore, my experience with the mobile app was sublime, I couldn’t fault it if I tried, and I genuinely wish that all online casinos would model their mobile apps around it - it’s that good!

Like the mobile app, the DraftKings website is absolutely awesome and very easy to use on a day-to-day basis.
However, navigating through the website doesn’t feel quite as smooth.
Look and feel
The DraftKings website employs the same great looks as the app, and it looks just as good on the big screen.
Again the theme can be changed to a lighter one if it takes your fancy.
The navigational menus are also the same. The website just feels like a blown-up version of the app!
User experience
Like the mobile app, my experience with DraftKings’ mobile app was overwhelmingly positive.
Like the app, performance was never an issue. The looks are great, and navigation, while not quite as smooth as the app, was pretty good on the whole.
However, it did take me a little longer to navigate between the menus, which was annoying at times.
There is also something to be said about the continuity between the DraftKings app and website. The two feel the same, which makes switching between the two nice and easy.
This does sound like a relatively small thing.
However, you’d be surprised by how many brands offer a completely different website and mobile app experience, which feel disconnected and harm the overall user experience.
However, with that being said, I would never choose to use the website. This isn’t because it’s bad to use, but rather because the app is just that good!

On the whole, DraftKings’ selection of games is extremely impressive. There are over 600 games in total, each with its unique theme.
The live casino is also great, and the additional sportsbook is a massive bonus. Though, I did miss several table game variants.

To redeem this incentive, you simply need to deposit at least $5 into your account within 7 days of opening it, and the extra funds will be added to your account within a few days.
This bonus will be awarded to your accounts in the form of credits, rather than cash, meaning you can’t just withdraw the extra cash and run away!
Directly compared to other incentives, this bonus offer does leave a lot to be desired.
You can, for instance, get as much as $500 worth of bonus credits through BetRivers’ scheme. Therefore, if you’re a more serious bettor, this offer simply isn’t the best on the market.
However, for more casual bettors, this incentive may be a little more attractive than other incentives from companies like BetRivers, simply down to the fact that you don’t need to bet as much to benefit from it.

Of course, the biggest omission here is phone support, which is not yet offered by DraftKings.
It’s also worth noting that the live chat function isn’t available 24/7.
User experience
My user experience with DraftKings customer support was on the whole mixed.
On the one hand, the available contact methods were fantastic. Yet, on the other hand, I seriously missed features like phone support and 24/7 live chat.
For instance, my email inquiries were responded to within a few hours. Every reply answered my question in plain terms and even had attached links to useful FAQs and blog pages.
The same can be said for Twitter DMs, which were answered with similar speed, and the answers themselves came packed full of useful information.
However, I missed phone support during my testing. Sometimes, nothing beats having an authentic conversation with another human, and it’s something that just can’t be replicated through live chat or email.
The lack of 24/7 support is also incredibly disappointing. Granted, you probably won’t need technical support in the middle of the night during the week.

The only major letdown is the customer service, which is poor when compared to competitors such as BetRivers Casino.
Therefore, I would recommend DraftKings to anyone who wants a large selection of games, an easy-to-use mobile app, and doesn’t care much for a massive welcome bonus.
