Saturday’s Premier League menu offers four courses, beginning with a starter of Aston Villa vs Fulham, before a main course of fixtures at Goodison Park and King Power Stadium, followed by an early-evening dessert of Arsenal vs Bournemouth at Emirates Stadium.
With the season winding down, Premier League accumulator betting opportunities are running out, while with lots of teams now thinking about the off-season, acca value may be in short supply, but let’s see what we can come up with ahead of Saturday’s games. Read on for our Premier League football accumulator tips.
Accumulator tips for today
All of the games featured in this accumulator are due to take place on 03/05/2025, with the first starting at 12:30 GMT.
The following three player bets appeals ahead of Saturday’s games. Combining these three player bets into a treble pays 13.73/1 at betway. Or if you prefer to think of it this way, £10 returns £147.32.
Aston Villa vs Fulham - Raul Jimenez to Score
We’ll kick this one off with a bet on Fulham’s Raul Jimenez to find the net in the early kick-off at Villa Park, where crucially, both teams have something to play for.
We’ve seen lots of high-performing forwards in the Premier League this season, so someone like Raul Jimenez has gone a little under the radar, but we shouldn’t forget just how deadly the Mexican can be. After all, this is a man who has notched an average of 0.42 goals per 90 minutes in the league this season. Not bad at all.
Moreover, Jimenez averages a chunky 0.47 expected goals per 90 minutes, suggesting that he does enough to score just about one in two, which is pretty good going. The forward is also Fulham’s most prolific shooter in the Premier League this season, pulling the trigger no less than 3.50 times per 90 minutes.
What I also like about Jimenez is that he’s come up with some big goals on the road in recent times, notching away to both Brighton and Newcastle, while he’s also familiar with shooting lots on the road too, shooting four or more times away to Man City, Spurs, Everton, Chelsea, West Ham, Newcastle and Southampton this season, shooting two or more times away to Arsenal, Brighton, Wolves and Crystal Palace too.
Throw into the mix that the Villans have looked a little shaky defensively of late and Jimenez starts to look like a cracking scorer bet at odds of 14/5.
Everton vs Ipswich - Carlos Alcaraz to Score or Assist
This may be a game with little riding on it, but one man with no lack of motivation to turn in a big performance is Carlos Alcaraz, who has already expressed his desire to turn his loan move into a permanent switch.
Let’s be honest, despite not scoring or assisting with amazing frequency since arriving at Goodison Park in January, the lively Argentine has delivered some promising performances, while he’s shown real hunger in the final third, always looking to play forward, shooting regularly.
The former Southampton youngster is shooting an average of 3.48 times per 90 minutes in the Premier League, averaging also 1.10 shots on target per 90 minutes. He also ranks as Everton’s second-best player for passes into the penalty area (per 90). Against a weak opponent, he could easily do some damage.
In terms of tangible goal contributions, Alcaraz has two goals and assists from 11 appearances, averaging a more than respectable 0.37 goals and assists per 90 minutes. Given the odds on offer, I like that number.
Arsenal vs Bournemouth - Antoine Semenyo Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Lastly, we’re interested in the action at Emirates Stadium, where the hosts have nothing to play for and will likely be thinking only about getting through this game without expending too much energy, with their season now all about next week’s trip to Paris for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semi final with PSG.
In contrast, the visitors have a European spot to try and secure, and as they do it, I’m betting on their most prolific shooter to register a shot on target.
The scorer of a fine finish last weekend, Antoine Semenyo has been one of the standout wide players in the division this season, producing his fair share of goals and assists, plus generally creating plenty, both for himself and others.
The two-footed operator certainly loves a shot, firing off no less than 118 shots in the league this season, averaging a whopping 3.65 shots per 90. Interestingly, no Premier League player has attempted more shots than Semenyo, who also ranks fifth in the entire division for shots on target, registering a total of 37, averaging 1.15 per 90.
After hitting the target five times in his last five appearances, ahead of a game against a team that doesn’t need to do much here, Semenyo is just the man to round off this accumulator.
