This is also a man that often fails to win the ball when tackling, while he’s not averse to cheap, cynical fouls either, especially in big games.

We saw the Dutchman make a few “needless” fouls against Real Madrid in the Spanish Cup final recently, earning himself a card, while he was also booked away from home against Atletico Madrid in the semifinals of that competition.

During the quarter-finals, de Jong received a yellow at Dortmund, and with this clearly being a high-pressure game, it wouldn’t exactly be surprising to see him get in trouble on Tuesday, and at odds of 5/1, he’s worth betting on to do just that.
