Peter Crouch’s spindly legs might look like they would snap on impact, but it turns out they actually come quite keen if they get you in the right place.

Just ask Gretar Steinsson, who spent most of the weekend talking in a comedy high-pitched voice.

His weekend was brightened by the fact that he kept Gareth Bale quiet for most of Bolton’s victory over Spurs and, having done a better job than Maicon, he is now the best right-back in the world by default.
