Reidy to put OTP’s team through their paces

Cheer up, Madron FC. Oh what can it mean. To a poor Cornish outift. Who are trained by Peter Reid?

That’s right, OTP fans. Plymouth Argyle manager Peter Reid is heading to our favourite team / the worst team in Britain to take a training session.

The ex-Sunderland gaffer is due to become a guest coach at the Cornish village side for a special practice session tomorrow evening. The news was broken by Madron player Jon Spencer in an exclusive interview with Off The Post.

He said: “We’ve got Peter Reid from Plymouth Argyle and unconfirmed rumours about his players and playing staff in a training match against us.”

You will recall this is a side that lost a recent league fixture 55-0 potentially lining up against a Football League side. Treble figures anyone?

Jon, circled in the picture above, won’t be fazed by that prospect. He only joined the club after hearing about the 55-0 drubbing and made his debut in the subsequent 22-0 defeat.
