There’s a distinct wrestling theme to proceedings this week, as the pod focus on: Paul Scharner and Liam Ridgewell’s grapple at St. Andrews, a unique referee tag-team solution to spare Mark Clattenberg’s blushes, and a 36-man royal rumble from the home of everyone’s favourite bizarre football goings-on: Argentina.

After we’ve finished diving from the ropes and beating each other about the head with chairs, there’s also an unprovoked attack on a childrens’ TV stalwart and madness on four wheels courtesy of German champions-elect Borussia Dortmund.

The OTP podcast – cape and spandex optional.

Liverpool’s Dirk Kuyt gives Luis Suarez a lesson in finishing at Anfield. Exceptional strike.

Wigan’s Ali Al-Habsi needs to stop watching that ‘How to keep hold of things, feat. Robert
Green’ DVD he got for Christmas.

Ryan Giggs getting hypnotised by Dimitar Berbatov’s chin. Lets face it, we’ve all been there.

Vinnie Jones showing that he still doesn’t take any prisoners with this secretly filmed half-time team talk. Lines such as “Some of you have got airports on your mind” and “shall I get a f**cking chair for ya?” are some of our personal favourites.

Borussia Dortmund’s Nuri Sahin after his team’s daring bus trick: “On the long trips to away games, nothing passes the time better than putting fellow road users in extreme amounts of danger. It’s way better than another game of poker.”

An incredible 36 red cards were brandished at the end of this fiery game in the Argentinian fifth tier. But when your tunnel onto the pitch is based on the design of a prison cell, ultimately you’re looking for trouble…
