Prem drugs bust

A Premier League star who tested positive for cocaine will be named in a TV programme airing tonight.

The player will be outed by tonight’s episode of Dispatches on Channel 4. He has reportedly been sold by his club in a multi-million pound transfer since the failed drugs test. And his new club were not told he had tested positive, the show will claim.

The investigation focuses on the use of recreational and performance-enhancing drugs in English football. It is said to have uncovered the identities of dozens of footballers who have tested positive for cocaine and cannabis.

Evidence has also been discovered showing that three ex-England internationals and one Scottish star were investigated over suspicious levels of testosterone in their urine. All of the players were subsequently cleared in that case.

Should make for an interesting watch.
