The Japanese typically find ingenious and technological ways to improve life, and it now appears that football is not safe from their innovations.

However, I wouldn’t say that this a particularly technical way of avoiding the inevitable queue at the ticket office to get a ticket for a big game.

Essentially, to avoid this Japanese football fans use sticky tape to create a small area within the car park of the stadium. This tape has the name of the individual and the number of tickets required. This then remains to the day of the game, when those individuals turn up and take their place in the queue.

Honestly, can you imagine this working in England? How long would it be before someone simply peeled your tape up and replaced it with their own? Exactly.
