ADO Den Haag, it appears, are the club that really puts the hospital in corporate hospitality.
Sixteen fans were treated in hospital after collapsing in the stands at the club’s 2-0 home win against Feyenoord, and it later appeared that they were in fact suffering from the effects of over-excessive Marijuana consumption.
It is thought that the drug had been served in ‘specialist’ cakes in the the club’s corporate hospitality area before the game, a fact that is likely to embarrass the club somewhat.
A police investigation has got underway as to who planted (or baked) the cakes, with ADO making the point that the club is not responsible for the food served in the corporate boxes.
