The Leinster regional league might not appear to be the most evident place to see one of the greatest goals you’ll see, but we should be immensely grateful to whoever decided to first film the game, and then put the footage up onto Youtube.
The game in question is Bohemians vs Leixlip United, and contained a goal so beautiful you’d just want to lie next to it and hold its hand rather than trying any funny business, simply fearful of spoiling its purity.
A midfielder collects the ball, does a load of kick-ups, nutmegs one and scampers past another before a finish that is cooler than a polar bear in a leather jacket and twisted chinos sat in a freezer.
