As recent photos of Manchester United and Manchester City players show, footballers are simple beasts. Stick them by a pool with a famous RnB artist and they’ll be fine for a couple of months.
Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech is a little different, however. Rather than keeping it all Timberland and Miami, Cech has instead been following his alternative career as a musician.
The keeper plays various instruments, and he linked up with famous Czech Eddie Stoilow to become their honorary drummer for the weekend as they play Rock the People festival in front of 12,000. It’s all quite big time given that the Arctic Monkeys headlined the festival in 2011.
