You would have thought that Premier League players may have caught up on their sleep during their summer break, but it appears that pre-season training has come a little early for Liverpool youngster Samed Yesil.
The German, who joined from Bayer Leverkusen last summer, went AWOL from training and was found asleep near a wall in the club’s training complex.
Fellow trainee Henoc Mukendi posted a photo on Instagram of Yesil, and gave the picture the following caption: “‘Samed went missing for like 2 hours & we found him asleep in the indoor astro”.
Professionalism is… and that is what I want.
