New Fulham manager Felix Magath says the club will avoid relegation this season.
Speaking at his first press conference since replacing Rene Meulensteen, the former Bayern Munich and Schalke boss confidently predicted that the bottom-of-the-table Cottagers will escape the drop.
He said: “Now we are in serious situation, sure, you know.
“The next few months we will have a lot of work to avoid relegation, but the first days here I have worked with the team was very good and I’m sure that we will avoid relegation with this team because the players are willing to do [hard work] to avoid relegation and we have a good atmosphere.”
