Fulham manager Felix Magath says his side need all three points at home to Stoke on Saturday if they are to have any chance of avoiding relegation.

The German boss is in no doubt that only two wins from their remaining two games will see them beat the drop. And that means securing victory over Mark Hughes’ Potters this weekend.

He said: “I think there’s no doubt about it, we need three points to have the chance of not being relegated.

“That is the situation, I think. There’s nothing to say about it.”

But Magath is convinced that his side are improving and are up to the task.

He continued: “We are confident that we have developed in recent weeks and we have shown, against Hull and before, that we are able to make good games, although away from home we have won at Aston Villa, so we are confident that we can manage it.”
