Manchester United and Arsenal target Jordy Clasie has revealed that he is focused on his club Feyenoord rather than agitating for a move.

The midfielder, dubbed the “Dutch Xavi”, played for the Netherlands at this summer’s World Cup and made 37 appearances for Feyenoord last season earning rave reviews after turning in some impressive displays.

Clasie only signed a new deal last summer, ending speculation he would be coming to the Premier League.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur had been strongly linked with the rising star but no deal materialised after the player decided it was better for his development to remain in Holland.

And now the 23-year-old has confirmed he is once again focusing on Feyenoord, despite being linked to Porto, West Ham, and Saints, though he has hinted he would be interested in a move to the Portuguese side.

“Obviously, Porto would be a great club for me, but I cannot say more than that,” Clasie told Fox Sports. “For now the important thing is to be focused on Feyenoord.”
