QPR boss Harry Redknapp has revealed that former Tottenham attacker Adel Taarabt can leave the west London club if they receive adequate compensation for him.

The Moroccan was shipped out on loan to AC Milan last January where he largely impressed for the Italian giants.

Reports in Italy say Milan are keen to make the deal permanent with the player determined to leave QPR.

Redknapp, though, says the player has not trained and is not fit, which may hold up any deal.

The Londoners have a valuation in mind and will not let him go on the cheap. “I think he wants to leave but the chairman’s got a price in mind and until that is met he won’t be going,” Redknapp said.

“He needs to get fit because he hasn’t done one day’s training yet.”

Taarabt went on loan to Fulham but following a disastrous spell that was marred by a series of poor displays and indiscretions ended up going to Milan.
