Chelsea youngster Nathaniel Chalobah has joined Premier League rivals Burnley on a season-long loan.
The highly-rated 19-year-old is already an England Under-21 regular and spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest then Middlesbrough in the Championship.
He has now completed a switch to Turf Moor for the remainder of the campaign, with the Blues keen for Chalobah to play Premier League football.
The Chelsea website reports: “The move gives the 19-year-old his first opportunity to gain top-flight first-team experience.”
Chalobah is currently on England Under-21 duty alongside his new Clarets team-mate Danny Ings.
UPDATE: At the time of writing, Chelsea claim it is a season-long loan, while Burnley say Chalobah has joined until January.
