With Liverpool having sacked manager Brendan Rodgers yesterday and former Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp becoming the hot favourite to replace him, German tabloid Bild have been explaining why Klopp and Liverpool are a match made in heaven.

3. He already knows You’ll Never Walk Alone
The Anfield anthem is also sung before every Dortmund home match, so Klopp already knows the words.
4. They’re both crazy
Bild says Liverpool fans are crazy about football and that this adjective is also a suitable description for Klopp.
5. Working class fanbase
The article draws comparisons between the demographics of Dortmund’s fanbase and that of Liverpool. It is suggested the close relationship between the club and its supporters will suit Klopp’s style.
6. Romance and emotion
Both Klopp and Liverpool thrive on football romance and emotions, which Bild claims makes this a footballing dream marriage.
