Who are Europe’s deadliest finishers of 2015? The video above provides a round-up of the continent’s top goalscorers of the calendar year.

There are absolutely no surprises in the top two, with Barcelona’s Lionel Messi pipping Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo to the title. Both superstars scored 33 league goals in 2015, but Messi achieved the feat in fewer games.

Further down the list there are a few surprises, including Athletic Bilbao’s Aritz Aduriz.
