The Brazil international thanked the Chinese side’s supporters for the welcome reception he had been afforded.

Upon his arrival at the airport, he was presented with a club scarf and a bouquet of flowers.

Writing on Twitter, the former Benfica star said: “Thanks to all the Jiangsu Suning fans for the fantastic reception!”

Jiangsu paid around £25m to sign Ramires, aged 28, from the Blues last month.
