Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is the latest Premier League star to be sounded out over a move to the Chinese Super League, according to the Daily Star Sunday.

The report claims a Chinese delegation of agents acting on behalf of the league as a whole rather than a particular club was recently in the UK and took the opportunity to approach Fellaini about a possible move to the Far East.

Fellaini, aged 28, joined United from Everton in a £27m in the summer 2013 transfer window. He has generally struggled for regular playing time, but has established himself as a starter in Louis van Gaal’s side in recent weeks.

The same agents are said to have made an approach to Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony.

Chelsea midfielder Ramires recently made the move to Jiangsu Suning, while the likes of Loic Remy have also been linked.

Liverpool target Alex Teixeira and Atletico Madrid striker Jackson Martinez are among the other recent arrivals in China.
