The former Netherland international showed his class by saving a penalty to help his side to a 1-1 draw against rivals Jodan Boys.

Van der Sar stepped in as a favour after Noordwijk’s first-choice keeper was ruled out through injury.

He originally played for the club for five years up to the age of 20, when he joined Ajax and started his professional career.
