FC Utrecht striker Sébastien Haller is a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur, according to Dutch publication Voetbal International.

The 21-year-old is in his first full season with the Eredivisie side and has scored 16 goals in 27 league games. He previously spent the second half of last season on loan from French side Auxerre.

A 6ft 2in forward, Haller is also a France Under-21 international and has nine goals in 13 games at that level.

The report claims Dutch giants Ajax, French outfit Monaco and German sides Bayer Leverkusen, Schalke 04 and Borussia Monchengladbach are also in the running to sign the youngster.

Haller has offers to join Norwich City, Sunderland and Aston Villa in the January window, the article suggests, but could now find himself operating higher up the Premier League table and in the Champions League if Spurs go ahead with an attempt to sign him this summer.

Voetbal International says it is no longer a case of whether Haller will leave Utretch, just a question of where he will go.
