Former Chelsea manager Avram Grant is on his way to the UK to hold talks with Manchester United starlet Timothy Fosu-Mensah, according to Ghana Web.
Israeli coach Grant is currently coaching the Ghana national team and wants to convince Fosu-Mensah to represent the Black Stars, the report claims.
Fosu-Mensah, aged 18, has broken into the United first-team in recent weeks and has put in some very impressive performances.
The Amsterdam-born defender is currently playing for Netherlands Under-19s and has represented the country of his birth at every age group from under-15 level.
But the former Ajax junior also qualifies to play for Ghana by virtue of his heritage.
Grant has been monitoring the versatile 6ft 3in centre-back, full-back or defensive midfielder and is apparently travelling to Manchester with the aim of convincing Fosu-Mensah to switch allegiances.
The Netherlands will be keen to avoid that. They are starting to rebuild after their failure to qualify for Euro 2016 and look set to ditch a generation of older players.
