The elder Koeman made his name as a ball-playing defender, but his son is a goalkeeper.

Koeman Jnr’s team faced Feyenoord in the Dutch Cup last night and the 21-year-old played.

Koeman Snr was in the crowd and said he was a proud father having watched his son play in front of 50,000 fans.
