Chelsea forward Bertrand Traore is not in good shape, according to Peter Bosz, his boss at loan club Ajax.

The Burkina Faso international is currently on a season-long stint with the Dutch giants, but his prospects of regular football have taken a hit in recent weeks.

After three goals in 12 games in all competitions so far this season, Traore has fallen out of favour with Bosz in recent weeks.

The Ajax coach insists that there is not a problem with Traore’s attitude, but he does have reservations of his performances and his recent form.

According to Voetbal International, Bosz said: “There is nothing wrong with his attitude, but the shape is not good.

“I know he can do much better – that he has shown at Ajax in his early days. But since the last international break, he has never got to the level of before. It is important that he gets back to form as soon as possible.”

Traore has had a convoluted start to his career. He began in French side Auxerre’s youth ranks, but was rumoured to have quit to join Chelsea in 2010. But in January 2012, the Blues issues official confirmation that he was not and never had been their player.

In late 2013, he signed a professional contract at Stamford Bridge and officially became a Chelsea player in January 2014.

He subsequently had two loan spells at Vitesse Arnhem, but was a first-team player at Chelsea last season.

He joined Ajax in August.
