Enner Valencia and Mitchy Batshuayi have been an unstoppable force this season in the Turkish Süper Lig, helping Fenerbahçe S.K. to a much-needed title push. A Rich Vein of Form

Valencia, in particular, has hit a rich vein of form for Fenerbahçe this season, with 25 goals in 21 Süper Lig outings. His goal tally is a remarkable 1.19 goals per game, which is impressive for any player. The Ecuadorian striker has been instrumental in the Istanbul side maintaining the second spot in the league standings.

His ability to hold up play and create chances for others sets him apart from other forwards in the league. Batshuayi is no slouch either, as he has netted ten times from his 15 appearances at Fenerbahçe. The Belgian striker has proved an able partner for the Ecuadorean in Fenerbahçe's push toward winning their first Süper Lig title since the 2013/14 season.

The duo's success is a testament to their hard work and dedication. Their pace, power, and technical ability make them a potent threat that defences find hard to tame. Moreover, their clinical finishing only furthers their status as Turkey's best forward pairings. Again, their positional awareness allows them to swap positions mid-game, creating chances for one another.

Rediscovering Their Form

Valencia's and Batshuayi’s stellar form is even more remarkable when one considers their circumstances before joining Fenerbahçe. While Valencia was on the sidelines due to several injuries, Batshuayi struggled for game time at Chelsea before moving to Turkey in 2021. Nonetheless, both players have rediscovered their form in Istanbul and established themselves as an integral part of their team’s attack. And despite their different styles of play – Valencia is known for his mobility and agility while Batshuayi excels in strength and power – they still complement each other perfectly on the pitch.

Regarding individual success, Valencia is currently the highest scorer in the Süper Lig. He leads Fatih Karagümrük's duo of Fabio Borini and Mbaye Diagne with 15 goals each. Meanwhile, Batshuayi is the fourth-highest scorer on the log.
