As well as the game in Bilbao, there’s UEFA Europa League action at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where Spurs and Bodo/Glimt will battle it out in the first leg of this semi-final.
For Tottenham and Ange Postecoglou, the season has reached boiling point. Make it through this test and there’s a serious chance of this campaign being deemed a success, despite the numerous horror shows in the league.
The hosts will be looking to build an advantage on home soil, but can they do it? Could the visitors cause the upset that leaves Ange with one foot very much out of the door? Read on for our Tottenham vs Bodo/Glimt betting tips and best value bets.

Tottenham vs Bodo/Glimt value betting tips
This game takes place on 01/05/2025 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Kick off will be at 20:00 GMT.
Looking at the early odds, I think there are a few slices of value to be had here, so let’s get stuck into those.
Both Teams to Score
Clearly, the early market expects Spurs to thrive here, but given the available ‘Both Teams to Score’ odds of 5/6, I’m not entirely sure that the threat of the visitors has been factored in enough, or maybe what I’m trying to say is that the early market may be slightly overlooking the fact that Spurs are somewhat abject at the back.
The success of the Norwegian side in this competition has been built largely on the ability to make Aspmyra Stadion a fortress. Teams have really struggled to be at their best on the artificial surface and Thursday’s visitors have taken full advantage.
However, while they’ve been at their best at home, from an offensive point of view, Kjetil Knutsen’s men haven’t exactly floundered on the road. The men in yellow scored away to both Nice and Braga during the UEL League Phase, while they also notched twice at Old Trafford.
In the knockouts, they’ve scored away to both Olympiacos and Twente too, so it’s not as if they’re unfamiliar with breaching teams when playing away from the comforts of their non-grass pitch. What’s more, the hosts don’t exactly boast the meanest of defensive records at home, conceding at least once in each of their last six home games (in all competitions).
Moreover, we’ve seen Spurs' rather rickety backline struggle massively to guard against the break, which is a tactic that Bodo will likely use here. During the last round, Frankfurt profited on the counter at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as did Alkmaar before that.
Factoring in that the visitors haven’t failed to score away from home (in all competitions) since October, with Spurs not misfiring at home just once since September, a bet on both to find the net on Thursday appeals a little more than the early market thinks it should.
Recap - Tottenham vs Bodo/Glimt best value bets
The table below shows the odds available for our value betting tips at the time of writing, as well as what I consider to be fair odds for these selections. It’s important to note that to take value, you should be taking odds that are bigger than the fair odds. If bigger odds are not available, then there’s no value, which means no bet.
