Having got the job done in the first leg, perhaps in slightly less commanding fashion than preferred, Tottenham travel to Bodo/Glimt on Thursday, when the pair will battle it out for a place in the UEFA Europa League final.
For the hosts, it’s all about making home advantage pay and building on the late goal scored in London last week. For the visitors, it’s a near 2,000-mile trip north, where the conditions won’t be quite as harsh as those faced by the likes of AS Roma, who famously lost by six goals to one in Bodo during the group stages of the 2021/2022 Europa League campaign.
Spurs will have to tackle an artificial surface, which is something that many top teams from Western Europe often struggle with. Read on for our Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham player betting tips.
Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham player betting tips
This game takes place on 08/05/2025 at Aspmyra Stadion. Kick off will be at 20:00 GMT.
A key player for each team appeals in the player betting, especially at what I consider to be slightly generous odds. Let’s get stuck in.
Jens Petter Hauge to Score or Assist
It was a tough game for Bodo/Glimt at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last week, and not just because they faced opponents of a higher calibre, but because they were clearly overwhelmed by the occasion, at least for large parts of the game.
Key player, Jen Petter Hauge, who previously showed enough quality to be signed by AC Milan, was one of those who struggled to leave his mark on the game, but in front of a home crowd, with favourable conditions and on the artificial surface, the offensively-minded midfielder could easily make a much bigger impact.
It’s also worth mentioning that the 25-year-old was tasked with playing deeper than usual last week, but with key central midfielder Patrick Berg back from suspension, we should see Petter Hauge further forward, and that’s where he's at his best, delivering five goals and assists in the Europa League this season.
Four of Jens Petter Hauge’s direct goal contributions have come at Aspmyra Stadion, where the Norway international most recently provided an assist against Lazio.
Let’s face it, averages of 0.34 goals and assists and 0.43 expected goals and expected assists are hard to ignore. Against a Spurs side that will always give chances away on the road, this important home-team player looks a little generously priced to contribute.
Dejan Kulusevski to Score or Assist
For the visitors, I’m siding with Dejan Kulusevski to make a telling contribution, especially all the time odds of 8/5 are on offer.
A key player in every sense, Kulusevski is now fit again and should be ready to step up for his team, who will be looking to the Swede to create in the final third, especially with James Maddison’s fitness in doubt.
It’s been a while since Kulusevski scored or assisted, with his last direct goal involvement coming against Ipswich back in February. Of course, he’s been injured since then, while he made a positive impact off the bench in the first leg, getting into some really dangerous areas with ease, so his relative drought could come to an end here.
After all, this is a man with 20 goals and assists in all competitions this term, averaging a hefty 0.54 goals and assists per 90 minutes. In the Europa League, that average stands at 0.57, while he’s also Tottenham’s best player this season in terms of key passes (= passes leading directly to a shot). He’s a player I'll be backing, absolutely.

The table below shows the odds available for our player betting tips (at the time of writing), as well as what I consider to be fair odds for these bets. To be clear, to take value, you should be taking odds that are bigger than the fair odds. If bigger odds are not available, then there’s no value, which means no bet.
